MEMBERSHIP
Q: How do I pay my membership fees?
A: By cheque, made payable to The Gardens Lawn Tennis Club Ltd., or bank transfer (call the membership secretary for details)
Q: Can I pay by monthly instalments?
A: At the moment this is not possible but alternative payment methods are being investigated.
Q: What if I join part way through the year, are there discounts?
A: Anyone joining up until October will be liable for the full yearly rate. After October there are discounts available. Please contact the membership secretary for details at the time
Q: Are off peak memberships available?
A: Due to the voluntary nature of the club we only offer all day memberships

TENNIS
Q: What is the standard of play at the club?
A: We have a mixed standard from beginner through to League players
Q: Do I need to "play-in"?
A: No. The best way to get a feel for the club is to attend a club session
Q: Are there matches played against other clubs?
A: Yes. We have 4 men's teams, 2 ladies teams and 2 mixed teams that play in the Surrey league

COACHING
Q: Does the club have a coach?
A: Currently we have 2 part-time coaches
Q: What coaching is available?
A: Please see the coaching section of the website

FACILITIES
Q: What is the cost of using the floodlights?
A: Currently these are provided free when required
Q: If I wanted to practice on my own is there a tennis wall or ball machine?
A: We have a ball machine which can be used. A key is available on request for payment of a small fee
Q: Are there changing and showering facilities?
A: Yes

SOCIAL
Q: Do the club run any social events?
A: Yes. We have regular quizzes and parties during the year. Details of these are posted on the news section of this site.
Q: What post match facilities does the club have?
A: We have a well stocked, comfortable bar with large screen TV, Wi-Fi and a dartboard
